Most days, I ended up exhausted, mentally drained, and barely breaking even.
Balancing this side hustle with academic demands felt overwhelming. Dammmn! Microbiology dealt with me! Sanjay and Mr Adewunmi I won’t forget you both! My grades were slipping, my energy was dwindling, and my confidence was taking a hit. The lack of a system to attract or retain buyers made every day a stressful grind. I was stuck in hustle mode—working hard but getting nowhere fast.

For established brands, this step translates to targeted social media advertising and content strategies that position your product front and center for the right people. - Engaging My Leads:
I realized the importance of nurturing relationships with potential buyers. I created a WhatsApp group to share updates, special offers, and style inspiration, ensuring my audience stayed engaged and connected to my brand. In today’s market, email marketing, SMS campaigns, and personalized social media engagement play pivotal roles in keeping your audience warm and ready to buy. - Closing the Sale:
I removed barriers to purchasing by offering free on-campus delivery. Convenience became a key factor in boosting conversions. For brands scaling globally, streamlining the purchase process—whether through optimized landing pages, frictionless checkout systems, or superior customer support—makes all the difference.
Each of these steps represented a shift from hustle to strategy, turning fleeting interest into sustainable growth. It was my first experience with funnel building, a concept that would later become the foundation of my career helping global brands build scalable systems that attract, engage, and convert their ideal customers.
